Le Puy de Dôme: From its summit, at 1,465 m, you can see the shapes of around 100 volcanoes and the capital city of the Auvergne, Clermont-Ferrand.
Sancy Massif: A major tourist site. Sancy, at 1,866 m, is the highest point of central France. Within this area is the spa town of Le Mont-Dore and the spectacular crater or dam lakes of Pavin, Chambon and Guéry.

Cantal Mountains: The peaks of these mountains offer climbing with breathtaking views and winter and summer sports in the resort of Le Lioran from which the Plomb du Cantal, at 1,855 m, can be reached on foot via the GR4 route or by cable car.
Le Puy-en-Velay: An exceptionally beautiful town, the starting point of the "Via Podiensis" pilgrim route to Saint-Jacques de Compostelle in Spain. The city's Notre-Dame cathedral has been classed as a World Heritage of Mankind by UNESCO.
